Introducing terneo BeeRT — an advanced thermostat that automates and optimizes the operation of electrode and heating element boilers, as well as circulation pumps. This innovative solution significantly increases the energy efficiency and safety of your heating system without sacrificing comfort.
Intelligent control by two sensors
● Precise temperature maintenance: terneo BeeRT uses data from two temperature sensors installed on the supply and return pipes of the electric boiler. Heating is switched on when the "return" temperature drops below the set value, and switched off when the "supply" or "return" temperature reaches the set value. Thus, comfort is ensured by the "return" temperature, and safety and heating speed of the system are ensured by the "supply" temperature.
● Protection against incorrect settings: The thermostat prevents incorrect temperature settings, eliminating situations when heating does not turn on due to erroneous parameters. You cannot set the "feed" temperature lower than the "return" temperature.
Comfort and energy efficiency
● High accuracy: Precise maintenance of a comfortable temperature is achieved by the ability to set the "feed" and "return" temperatures with an accuracy of 0.1 °C and adjustable hysteresis.
● Optimal savings: A wide range of hysteresis (from 1 to 30 °C) for "feed" and "return" allows you to achieve maximum energy efficiency. Increasing the hysteresis also reduces wear on the contact groups of the starting equipment.
Boiler operation safety under control
● Control of powerful boilers: The thermostat is suitable for controlling boilers with a capacity of up to 16 A.
● Prevention of overheating and boiling:
* Outlet temperature control: terneo BeeRT prevents the boiler from overheating by constantly monitoring the outlet coolant temperature.
* Scald protection: Limiting the maximum temperature at the boiler outlet prevents the possibility of getting burned.
* Boil protection: If the "supply" temperature exceeds the set value, the thermostat will turn off the heating, and the circulation pump will continue to operate until the temperature drops to a safe level.
● Self-extinguishing polycarbonate casing: The casing is made of plastic of flammability class V0, providing increased fire safety.
Advanced pump control and monitoring options
● Connecting an external programmer: For maximum comfort and energy efficiency, terneo BeeRT can be controlled by an external programmer (for example, to set up a schedule depending on the air temperature). The programmer can block the operation of terneo BeeRT, turning off the boiler when there is no need for heating (for example, when everyone is at work).
● Unique compatibility: The thermostat is compatible with programmable thermostats with both normally closed and normally open contact groups, which is a unique advantage among competitors.
● Pump health monitoring: terneo BeeRT controls pumps with a capacity of up to 16 A and monitors their health based on the temperature of the coolant at the outlet of the boiler.
● Pump operation optimization: To improve boiler operation and reduce energy consumption, the thermostat additionally turns on the pump before and after heating for an adjustable time. This eliminates local concentration of the heated coolant and equalizes its temperature throughout the system.
Ease of installation and flexibility
● Possibility of sensor replacement: For users who prefer to use sensors other than the complete ones, there is an option to select the sensor type: digital or analog. The length of the complete sensors is 4 meters.
● Delivery set: Includes a thermostat and two temperature sensors in heat shrink with connecting wires. Installation is carried out on a standard DIN rail in a shield.
